Night, a great cover for those who don't want to be seen. High up on the rooftops under the cover of night was a small figure. I moved unseen avoiding the lights and guards post on the roofs. Approaching a small villa, the figure made its way over the wall that surrounded it. Hanging there from the wall it looked across the way to a window terrace. Leaping from the wall the small figure landed nimbly like a cat. Standing again the hood fell back revealing long blond hair but she didn't care. She peered into the room from the window. Smiling her opened the window and climbed into the room.
With each step she took she listened for movement outside the room. She made her way to set of hooks on the far wall. Hanging up her coat and changing into a night gown she crept to the bed. Just as she hopped into bed and pulled the blankets up someone cleared their throat. " Marceline Marie Laree! Où ave

“You’re an idiot, you know that?”you scolded to the assassin-pirate before you as you cleaned out the bloody cut on his arm. “Five against one aren’t the best odds in a fight. Especially not if you end up with what? Around twenty coins?”.
“Twenty-two.”Edward corrected you on which you rolled your (e/c) eyes. “Still not enough to risk your life for.”you remarked as you prepared a needle and thread. The cut on his arm was long and pretty deep. Stitches were needed. Luckily for a certain assassin-pirate you had enough skills thanks to your boring yet mandatory sessions of sewing with your mother when you were little.
“Auch!”the blond man who always seemed to flirt with danger whined the moment you pierced his skin with the needle. “Oh, don’t be a baby Edward.”you told him, your voice coated with an

Arno had brought you to his hideout in the catacombs of Paris. You had heard of this place, but never thought it would be so expansive. He seemed to know every twist and turn and every nook and cranny, which was certainly a feat in your eyes, considering you had a poor memory.
You were now in the main chamber of the Catacombs, and it was much more pleasant than you thought. Many beautiful silk tapestries hung on the stone walls, and there was a furnace against the wall, still aflame with its glow reflecting upon the wall decors, giving a cozy and welcoming feel. There was also a couch against the wall with a low-lying table in front of it, with bookshelves on each side, packed with books dating back some years ago, even some dating back to the early 1100's!
You lay on the bed adjacent to the couch. Arno had helped tend your wounds, and you were now resting, while he was in the next room over, making dinner for the both of you. He had advis

You couldn't believe that the Bread Thief was running across Conciergerie's rooftops. What the hell was he thinking? He could fall, get shot down by the guards in the towers, or worse: to get locked up in a prison cell waiting long, agonizing days until your head is severed before the eyes of hundreds; of whom will cheer on your death.
You watched the Bread Thief run over to the tower across from the one you were locked up in, and disappeared from sight. What else did that cutthroat want? How dare he steal from a poor woman's bread shop, but now steal from a king's building? He must be asking for a death sentence.
You decided to forget about it, it's best not to think about it and let the curiosity annoy you. Instead, you diverted your attention to the ironclad door. It was large and thick, but it was also rusty and its hinges seemed to creak when it was closed. Maybe the rust would work in your favor and it would open with
